If you’re using a speed sensor, you’ll need to set your wheel circumference. The correct wheel circumference depends on several factors like rim size, tire size, internal rim width (bead to bead), tire pressure, etc.
The default wheel size Karoo assumes if you have not changed the wheel size is a 700c rim, mounted with a 25c tire inflated to 80 psi, which is 2105.00 mm.
You can see this in Settings > Bike Profile > Wheel Circumference.
Refer to this table:
*The ISO for most tires is found on the sidewall along with the diameter and tire width. This number can make it easier to find your size on the chart.
**Please note this table is only a guideline and by no means complete or 100% accurate as wheel circumference can vary due to tire pressure, tread selection, tire thickness, rider weight, rim width, and load.
- This is not necessary if you are using GPS to track your speed.
- If you have a speed sensor connected but want to use GPS speed instead, go to the Sensors menu and drag “Built-In GPS” to the top
