This article explains how to import a Strava activity as a Route into the Dashboard.
If you see the error message: "Cannot import: To import this activity, convert it to a route first at Strava", the copied URL would look like: https://www.strava.com/activities/31xxxxxx
This is because the Dashboard will not accept an Activity URL from Strava directly as a Route. You need to convert the Activity to a Route.
Open the Activity on Strava.
On the Activity page, click on the "•••" and select "Create Route".When the Route Builder page loads, click on "Save".
You can also make any needed changes before saving the route.
You will see a pop-up confirmation window. Click on "Save".
Note: Do not mark this route as "Private".
You will see a confirmation window saying that the Route has been saved.
Click on "View My Route" to see the saved Route.
Now, you can use the Route URL to import this route into your Dashboard.
