To have your rides uploaded from the Karoo 2 to the Dashboard automatically, you have to log in to your Hammerhead account on Karoo 2.
Here are the steps to log in to your Hammerhead account directly on Karoo 2:
- On the Home screen, click on the "Apps" button.
- Click on the "Settings" app.
- Select "Hammerhead Account".
- Click on "EMAIL SIGN IN"
- Fill in the Email and Password for your Hammerhead Account.
- Tap on the ✓ icon.
- The message "Karoo has successfully retrieved your Hammerhead cloud data and saved it to this device" is displayed. Tap on the ✓ icon.
- You are now logged in to your Hammerhead Account on your Karoo 2.
You can also log in by scanning a QR code on your Smartphone:
- On your Karoo, Click on "QR SIGN IN"
- Scan the QR code on your smartphone.
- Fill in the Email and Password for your Hammerhead Account.
- Verify and Approve the Karoo device.
- On your Karoo, Click on "Done".
By default, the QR code might take you to a "Sign up" page. Scroll down to see the "Sign in" option if you have already created your Hammerhead account before you receive your Karoo 2.
Note: If you had already signed into a Hammerhead Account on your Karoo 2,
you will see the below screen as a final step in this login process.
You can choose between two options.
Either, SYNC DATA TO ACCOUNT
or, DELETE DATA ON DEVICE
