Karoo 2 - Getting Started

Here is a step-by-step breakdown of Getting Started with Karoo 2:

Press the Power button for a few seconds to turn on the unit.

Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
before accepting them to use Karoo 2.

Connect to a Wi-Fi network.

Karoo 2 will update to the latest version on this screen.
Once downloaded, the unit will update.

Karoo 2 will prompt you to download the Offline Maps
for your region based on your GPS location.

Choose your preferred Units of Measurement.

You can then connect to your Smartphone for Phone Notifications.

Then, you can pair your sensors.

You will see a final confirmation screen with your setup summary.

After setting up your Karoo, you’ll be prompted to take a brief tour of how to use it. You can take the tour later by going to Learn More in Karoo’s Settings app.

None of the steps are required,
though they are recommended to have the best possible experience.
