Double notifications with Android

Anyone ever get double texts with Android? I'm running the companion app and have everything turned on in settings... Any ideas?

  Hi Waylon, As per the few reports that we received, this usually happens when you have two different Apps that broadcast the same message if you get a message on your Phone. Let me know if that is the case or not.

  Just one set of notifications on my phone, but said app is not the native messaging app on the OS. I've got notifications blocked from the factory app but maybe they're still coming through via the K2 companion app?

  @Waylon: This could be a possibility. It would be great if you could use the native App and disable the third party App to isolate the issue further. You can do a bench test to check if the issue still persists or not.

  Still getting two. Tried an unpair and re-pair to the phone as well.

  @Waylon: How comfortable are you to uninstall the third part messaging App to test this? Also, are you getting the double notifications for all types of notifications such as text message, WhatsApp message, missed call, email, etc?

  Sorry, I should have made myself clearer earlier, I tried this and saw no change. I will test other notifications and return.

  Hari, as you suspected I am only getting one email notification. Coming through singularly via Outlook. Another email client I have does nothing. I don't know what other apps to check, any ideas of how I could force notify myself?

  @Waylon: As of now, there is no option to force notify the Phone notifications. You can customize the notifications that you would like to receive on Karoo 2 by toggling ON/OFF the specific notifications as shown in the below picture:

  Okay Hari, let's just give up on this. I can live with double notifications. Happy to be receiving them in a simpler way than on the Garmins. Moreover, some auto-replies from the tab would be a real bonus treat.
