Better map zoom [Feature Enhancement]

Having zoom is a great feature, but trying to use it I found so difficult and dangerous as you're always having to look at the screen while you're trying to get the right zooming level

Also one major issue seems to be the side buttons (A & C) zoom too quick so you overshoot where you want to be. 

The 3 stop zoom button (B?) also doesn't have the zoom levels I'd want on the map. 

I think the following would address it:

• user editable pre-set zoom levels on the 3- zoom steps button (B)
• audio cues so you don't have to look down while zooming in
• more reliable zoom in and out so you don't overshoot

  David, thanks once again for your suggestion. User editable zoom isn't in our immediate plans, but the team is working on auto-zoom when approaching key turns

  @David There are basically 2 Karoo ways to zoom in: physical buttons | Screen, bottom left side.
  -> and a 3th way -call it Google Map standard- is to use the 'finger map gesture'. Very easily in use !
  - double tap with 1 finger - every repeat brings you 1 level closer.
  - double tap with 2 fingers - every repeat brings you 1 level further away.

  - optional: sliding with 2 fingers on the map - adjusting the viewing angle of the map.
  Note: easy to practice with Google Maps - before using it with your Karoo☀️🌈

  @Ali From what I've seen of people's zoom comments is that zoom level is so unique to individuals and one zoom level doesn't fit all. even with auto zoom, will there an ability to make sure the levels it uses are customisable? 

  
  @Gerrard the double tap is good, but only works without gloves really. What options are there for when you have gloves on?

  Zoom possibilities right now:

  • Karoo physical button
  • Karoo zoom icoon at screen (left bottom)
  • double tab with 1 finger (zoom in)  or single tab with 2 fingers (zoom out)
  • DI2 users - can use their buttons on top of the shifter hoods

  Hello... I drove for years with nem Mio Navi.... That has an autozoom... Super... It is absolutely no longer necessary to zoom manually... I mean Garmin also has the autzoom function... Increases with it also the driving safety... I hope you work on the function.  That would be great!!!
