Following Tech Support Instructions.

 

I have to completely drain the battery according to tech support.

 

So in doing this “battery calibrate” you forgot to mention that the K2 shuts off when not active and there seems to be no way to turn this off. I changed the display to stay on for an hour but i will have to watch the K2 for the power off count down and cancel it.

 

THIS IS MOST ANNOYING!!

 

Only option I see is to go ride for several hours till the battery is totally dead. LOL

  Solution to complete recalibration. 

  Auto-pause off, start a ride, up the brightness to 100%.

  25% battery drain in 45 min .. the problem is real.

  Update! After further troubleshooting with Sumit in tech support we have determined a K2 unit replacement is necessary. Thank you Sumit and Hammerhead support for taking this matter on and providing the right solution. 

  Keep on K2 riding.
