Remove route mid-ride problem

Hi, I have a recurring problem with the "Remove (current) Route" from the quick menu on my Karoo 2. Despite clicking the "X", the map keeps on showing and beeping when deviating from the route. Am I missing something?

  Same problem.
  I need move for 10-20m , only then removed route disappears.
