As we all know, the Karoo doesn't ship with a charger, but can be charged easily enough via USB. One question naturally arises though - how powerful a charger do you need to charge it in a quick a time as possible?
Well, I decided to measure it, and it looks like the Karoo draws around 750mA on charger, i.e. around 0.75A. So you don't need a super-powerful (e.g. 2A) charger, a 1A one will be more than enough.
Bear in mind that a device charging in this way will only draw the current that it needs. So it's impossible to use a charger that's "too powerful" in terms of current. So you could use a 5A charger if you want to, just that anything thats 0.75A or more looks to be more than enough.
I only did a quick test, and it's possible that the Karoo draws a bit more power than this when it's at very low charge (mine was around 50% charged), but I imagine that a 1A charger is still more than enough.
