    I already described it yesterday here https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/360002364374-Gradient-jumps-between-zero-and-correct-value-constantly

    and would appreciate a fix. But wrt accuracy I must cut the Karoo some slack. On the last few kilometers towards home I have a slope that ist 21% in the steepest section. My trusty old garmin always misreads this as 36% - while the Karoo almost correctly displayed 23%. So accuracy does not seem to be too bad.

    But Garmin updates elevation by every meter I climb, Karoo only updates every 3m elevation, sometimes 2m. And grade seems to be calculated by current height - and if it does not see an elevation change in 7 seconds it assumes level pavement.

    I hope this ist not due to inaccurace pressure measurement, but only a software issue.

    @Martin,

    Thanks, did not see that one.

    Describes exactly what I was experiencing Saturday.

    Hi all,

    Same problem for me since the beginning and still there in the November 2018 update!!!!!!

    The current grade figure is all over the place. From 0 to something and back to 0. Also it lags behind what's happening for multiple seconds. It's really annoying!!! And in the meantime the elevation graph although lagging behind for at least 10 seconds, reflects the real terrain. The Garmin edge 1000 elevation figure is fluid, coherent and immediate as it should be. Why is it so hard to eliminate such a huge bug?

    Hi all,

    Does anyone know when this will be fixed? I still have erroneous functioning of the grade and vertical speed fields. It's even worse than before. Now I very seldomly see something in these two fields (but the value displayed is lagging behind the reality). And most of the time these fields show ''...'' or ''0''.

    Please Hammerhead, can you please fix this. It seems so easy to do (the elevation graph is working perfectly so you know the elevation...)
