    Are you using a speed sensor, or just GPS? This sounds like a GPS-based speed thing where it gets confused about your location and has you moving at incredible speed to a new location as it tries to figure out where you are.

    I had something similar, albeit less severe at the weekend.

    I use a Wahoo speed sensor, connected by Ant+.  Rolling at approximately 20mph, the speed shown started going haywire up and down between 60 and 90mph.

    I switched off Ant+ and then it started behaving correctly when using GPS.

    I'm using both Garmin Speed Sensor and Cadence Sensor. According to support, I should give a try without the Speed sensor and only use the Cadence one. They are aware of the bug, and this should be corrected in a future release.
