    @Xander- The route making on dashboard could be troublesome and choose its own path while creation or editing it.

    We have informed our maps expert working on the dashboard and unfortunately, this is still being worked on with the mapbox.

    Please see: Route skips the set waypoints on Dashboard that could be helpful for your query, or you can use other websites to edit the routes and import on Dashboard to sync with Karoo.

    Hi Ali, 

    I have noticed indeed. I am aware of the workaround, but the seamless sync between hard- and software platform was primarily the reason I bought Karoo. So I think you would agree that it would be nice to get those bugs out of the way.

    So can u please give some information about the evolution on these topics? For which time frame are these bugs scheduled? I understand that there may be more urgent bugs to fix (e.g. battery life), but it would be nice to (roughly) have some idea.

    Hey Xander - We have a better routing engine on the dashboard now than before and this issue might still occur some times. We will continue to improve the route making experience but as you know there are other pressing things, but please be assured these are still issues which needs refinements.     I've noticed the route making improvements in dashboard are no longer listed on the product roadmap?

    Regarding mapping & routing only the looped routes-problem is mentioned in your 'known bugs and issues post'.

    The roadmap is only for Karoo's software development. The dashboard indeed is a part of Karoo but the focus would be more on Karoo's software. If there are changes in Karoo's mapping and Navigation - there would also be a change in Dashboard as both uses the same maps and routing services.

    If you face a lot of difficulty on the Dashboard while route making, you can use any other integrated services on the Dashboard to create route/import and sync routes on Karoo for now.

    I hope relying on third parties to provide the route building is only temporary. I agree there are quite a lot of options out there, but a lot of them also just suck.  

    And I just want it to work you know. Buy a device, use the providers online SW to build a route, upload to unit. Proper routing software, proper unit. Seamless, simple. Just like advertised (not only by HH btw).

    In a way these actions are the most basic features of a gps unit. But today, the advertisers intended simplicity is not near reality (imho: same goes for other brands, unfortunately).

    That's why I suggest HH seizes this opportunity to be the first to close this gap.

    Yes, I agree and we are looking forward to it too. Right now it is important for us all, including you, to make Karoo the best there is. Hence we are focused on getting it to be more reliable and stable.
