Hey Thomas, you have tried the correct way to import this route, however it looks like an issue with the URL and dashboard.

I have requested the software team to help us out with this URL and sort out the issue with the error.

Could you please download the GPX file of this route, import via GPX and see if it helps?

Same for me, made a komoot account and added the account in the dashboard.
Seems to be coupled but routes made in komoot don't appear and importing an URL gives error message. Should it be an automatic sync if accounts liked or only import of url

    Hello Ali,

    sure the GPX-import is running.

... but I want to use the new Komoot-Integration.

    @Didier Rosez

... I think the integration is only to copy the link of a single track.

    --> Import from Website
--> Enter a route URL from a website:

... I fear we won´t get an automatic sync :-(

Hey All, I am waiting for an answer from the dashboard team. I will update it here, as soon as I get the information from them.

    Thanks

It looks like Komoot locks contents on a region by region basis, and you need to unlock those regions for free or paid with Komoot. Once unlocked, then try to import the route and make sure your Komoot account is linked on the Dashboard.

@Didier- I am sorry to say this but automated Sync is not possible currently, and we would have to import via URL from the website.

    Hello Ali,

Thank you for the quick response.

I tried to link my Komoot-Account to the dashboard but I don't find where I have to enter my login data.

When I try to connect my Komoot-Account - the Dashboard ask me to allow the connection and not more. Perhaps I try an other Browser.

@Thomas- If you are already logged in to Komoot on the same browser, it would not ask to enter the login data, and would simply want you to allow the connection. Once you click on allow, check on the Dashboard and it would say 'Komoot is connected'.

@Ali - that's the way I did it - I get the message 'Komoot is connected' - but if I try to import a link I get the error-message 'Sorry we do not know how to import this route'.

    Hello Ali,

    I have a question about the Komoot-Connection.

... is there a way to get the rided tracks back to Komoot.
( or is it a one way ticket from Komoot-to-Karoo )

... I think for Strava there is a upload functionality

    Hi Thomas,

The Komoot integration is only one way as it allows you to import the data.

We have linked Karoo and Strava only and not any other websites, and hence there is auto upload or manual upload for Strava.

    Hi Ali

    I have the same problem.

Komoot is connected to the Dashboard with an account which has all regions unlocked.

If i type in a link... for example: https://www.komoot.de/tour/38074896

The browser works a second. But nothing than happens.

    Best regards

    Lutz

@Lutz  -  I see you use a German Komoot-Account - you have to edit the link komoot.de to komoot.com (or you can change the language from German to English in Komoot)

... it seems to be a bug :-)

Hey Thomas. You are correct. We currently seem to have an issue with komoot.de.

@Lutz Please try using komoot.com as Thomas has suggested.

We appreciate your patience while we fix this.

@Lutz- The route import currently pulls the information from only Komoot.com, and we have requested the dashboard expert to add Komoot.de to the source as well.

If this does not help, could you please share the picture of what is shown when you click on "Export to GPS device" in an email to support@hammerhead.io.

So the HH team only hast to put *.de* in the next Dashboard update :-)

... I tried the new Chrome-Extension (Hammerhead Button)
... here the same problem with the german version of Kommot - no reaction if I press the button

(You just have to change the language from German to English and it works flawless - the
problem also depends on the used Komoot-Domain Komoot.de or Komoot.com. )

... I hope Hammerhead fix the problem in the next update.
