    I'm curious. Is it attached to a bare handlebar?

    @Eric- Did you use the additional rubber strips that was sent out along with the accessories?

    @Ali, same for me, that Karoo creaks while it is mounted in the Barfly mount because the vibrations from the road cause it to move. The Barfly mount is fixed on the handlebar.with the rubber strips.

    Sad that the mount you shipped is completely useless for me at the moment.
    I'll try to add some tape or rubber in the mount so the Karoo can not move.

    For now I am using a different mount, that holds the Karoo in place and does not creak with the Karoo.

    We too experience this issue with Barfly mounts rarely. Please try using a small piece of tape inside the quarter turn mount. This will give it a bit of padding and should help secure the Karoo.

    You're saying it's the Karoo creaking inside the mount and not the mount creaking against the handlebars?

    @Doug, in my case yes.

    In my case, it was the unit creaking in the mount, not the mount to the handlebars. I have the rubber strip and a few winds of electrical tape insulating the connection to the handlebars. My solution was the O-ring from a dead 9007 headlight bulb. I attach the lanyard to the Barfly, slip on the O-ring, click the Karoo into place, then move the O-ring up under the Karoo. Perfect fit, and no more noise.
