Hey Iain, this is a rare known bug which may occur on Karoo for random update version. Can you factory reset the device and then apply the update. That should fix this problem.
Hi Ali, thanks, this has fixed the problem. I wonder if I could ask a supplementary q please? All my rides show me riding mostly below sea level! Is there a fix, please?

For me too the Karoo often starts somewhere between 100 and 200 feet below sea level. I'm actually at about 20 ft. above sea level. I didn't care too much, since the altitude gained and lost for the rides seems about right, but if this is a known problem I'd be curious to know about it.
