@Alexander - Thanks for passing on the feedback, great to see you had a good time on your Karoo. We are working on some critical add ons from past requests right now and should be available for you soon.

I don't remember anyone saying that there were problems with Karoo in cold weather. Though it's normal for any device with a lithium-ion battery (like Karoo) to have shorter battery life in those conditions because those sort of batteries don't do so well when it's very cold.

After the last update my battery level dropped like crazy unfortunately. Dropped 50% in 3 hours. It was 3 degrees but normally on previous rides I only lost 7-8% an hour. only Ant, cellular off and low brightness and data screen only.

@Marcel - Could you go on the next ride with Bluetooth and Wifi off?
Let me know the results here.

18% usage after 64 minutes WiFi and Bluetooth off.

The Karoo has shut down and restarted twice in a row. The temperature is ~23ºF. The distances were very short, about 2 miles. Did not use a route. I had heart rate, speed and cadence sensors on ANT+. It worked fine when the temperature was about 30ºF. I had used it three times in that condition without any shut downs or restarts.

My unit restarts quite frequently now. Could be the cold weather or an update. Last year it did not restarted at all. I have done the lot, factory reset, wiped all data etc. No sensors, no add ons, no BT, no Cell - only Navigation with cues (TBT) After the first restart I skipped the route and just went with pure GPS. Restarted again. I have one offline map and thats the one I tried to use.

    Route today 15km(9miles)
    Temp 35F/2C
First reboot after 15min, second shortly after the first one.

I have a support request running for this. This just made me a bit low, I missed a 50mile ride because of this and I have a 100mile race and a 190mile race comming up. :(

    Take care,

    Carl
