    Hey Jonathan, What I would like to suggest is to disable the BLE and connect the sensor only on the ANT+. Let me know if this helps in your next ride with 'sensor reconnection'.

    Ali, I originally always ran with BLE disabled.  Never had a problem before this last update.  I started the Karoo in my house and when I went to the garage to get my bike (as I have always done) I couldn't get the sensor to connect using Ant +.  As my friends were waiting for me out of desperation I enabled BLE and paired it this way.  I then stopped for coffee and took my Karoo off my bike.  When I put it back on my bike some 15 minutes later I started riding and notice that the Bluetooth sensor would not connect again so I had to toggle Bluetooth off and on while riding and then the cadence sensor connected again.

    After my ride yesterday I tried switching on the Karoo next to my bike and the sensors would connect but if I switched on my Karoo out of range of the sensor and then went next to my bike it continued searching but would not connect (even though the sensor was awake).

    Is this an issue with the last updated?

    Ali, I have just been checking when the problem with the Ant + sensor started and it was actually after the 1.5.345.3 update.  I see from the update notes that "this release deploys a new ANT+ stack..." so I am guessing this is the issue???  Any news of a fix as something has clearly broken it.

    This has been highlighted to the software team as they are worried too. The new ANT+ stack was introduced to make connections more stable and they are investigating the freezing issue and the connection issue. Could you please share the serial number with us and the FIT of the ride at support@hammerhead.io?

    Also, please take a bug report and let us know immediately the moment this issue occurs on your Karoo so we have more data with us from the field.

    Yes, this happens with my power meter if I stop for more than 5 mins.  I get round it by going into sensor menu and disabling then enabling PM then it picks up again. Not ideal

    Similar Issue with Wahoo Blue SC2. Using Ant+ I often have to disable and reenable to connect when starting a ride. This started around the time the posters above mentioned.

    @ Sean: same problem with my Bontrager Duo Sensor.
    Did you tried to un-pair and pair again the sensor itselves too?

    @Dirk

    Yes, I re-paired initially and changed batteries. Now I just disable and re-enable and that works. It is annoying though.

    @Sean yes it is frustrating.
    My speed sensor stops but the signal is "taken over" by the gps speed. So no notice what happened.
    But the good thing is that HH is working on a solution. Hope next year update sounds far away😉

    I have the same issue with my Sigma Duo Speed/Cadence sensor, the Sigma Heart rate sensor works fine. Haven`t been using the Karoo during the wintertime over here, but now when spring has arrived I went out for a little bike ride, but the Speed/Cadence sensor will not connect with the Karro, it just says Searhing and nothing more happens. When I turn the Wheel/cranks, the sensor is lit up so there is nothing wrong with the sensor and battery.
