Hey All. Elevation data and the way it is calculated by the Karoo is being improved and will become more stable in future updates. The software team has prioritised this and it has been planned for improvement in the coming releases.

I've just gone through Strava on my Forest rides and the start, which is in the same place, differ in elevation.  So there is a definite problem with my Karoo calculating elevation.

The auto calibration on Karoo is totally hopeless. My Garmin 520 gets the elevation correct within about 20 feet or so via its auto calibration, but this seems a task beyond Karoo (which can be up to 1000 feet out).

    Always use manual calibration.

    Thanks Steve,
I did try on one ride if you went manual then back to auto it worked, probably because you set it.
