Sync activity to Dropbox / Feature request
Hello,
I like to have all my activities saved on my own computer.... I know about the possibility to download from the Dashboard... but, I would like to have an automatic setup so my computer could fetch the *.fit files from that site automatic with ftp or similar.
This would be possible if the Karoo could connect to Dropbox and upload the activity to Dropbox, similar as Wahoo is doing.

Could we please look into adding this target for export activities.
Strava is limiting access to their API for 3rd parties, since Karoo has already it's own cloud why not enable Dropbox as a sharing platform. This would open up import from lots of other 3rd party services.
Think 'expand user base'.
Please consider supporting export of workouts to DropBox (and importing of routes would not hurt either.)

It would be very useful to be able to sync MY data to a service that is under MY control, and not only Strava and Hammerhead dashboard.
Examples could be:
- git repository (personally my favourite option)
- ftp, ssh server
- dropbox, google drive, ...This is really one of my top missing features.

They are dragging their feet because they aren't interested in what their customers want! They say they love feedback, but have no intention of acting on 99% of suggestions because it doesn't meet their main agenda.
They release all these 'updates' that don't address most of the customer complaints. And, more often than not, the updates introduce new bugs into the system. The classic example being the problems people are having with offline maps after an update several weeks ago!

Bumping this up as Strava is starting to play hardball with their API partners and are imposing limitations on both use of their data and how often they can access it.
I.e. See:

Steve MacMillan is 100% Correct unfortunately.
I would never recommend or buy another Hammerhead Product.
My K2 is sitting on my desk gathering dust, I use my original Elemnt as a head unit while I'm out and have just started Tracking the rides on my Garmin Watch.
As soon as the 840 appears, I'll be getting it. (hoping for USB-C)
