Are there alarms you can set in order to be reminded to do something

Hi there,

I preordered the Karoo 2 and for now I'm carefully watching the features my Garmin Edge 1030 offers in order to be able to compare those both devices.

And now I found one feature the Garmin offers of which I didn't read anything on the Hammerhead site. This is, on the Garmin I can set a reminder which will sound after a certain period of time so I know when to drink and to eat. Is there a comparable feature on the Karoo as well?

    No idea if it's a coincidence or not, but this morning I updated my Wahoo Roam and there is now the possibility to define as many alarms as you want (via the Companion App). Basis of a trigger can be the time, kilometers traveled or calories burned. This allows you to define alarms for drinking or taking breaks, for example. I actually find this a cool thing and would look forward to an integration in the Karoo...

    I agree I use that timer alarm function quite a bit.  Are you able to implement that please

    Well maybe now that they've been bought out by a well-funded company (SRAM) maybe they can add this feature as well as others. They super need crash/incident detection as well!

    +1 for this feature. I was using it when I was riding with Locus maps - notify me for every N kilometers, and for every N minutes. And when you are in battery save mode, it should wake up screen for alarm notification.

    @Marc Hoffman, I haven’t updated my Roam yet, but that is precisely what I would find most useful on the Karoo.

    No response from Hammerhead on this matter since 2 YEARS and the feature still missing. And this is a small feature compared to the Heatmap integration etc. :/

    This company is a disgrace with their constant, deliberate lack of feedback on many issues. People are very forgiving even when a company is not performing as long as that company provides some sort of feedback and updates. Hammerhead provide very little of either!!!

    Hello.
    I have just received a Karoo2, and I noticed that there is no possibility to have reminders.
    For me, due to a health problem, it is very important to have several of them written down.
    I found this thread, which has been open for 3 years and there has been no solution. The same in other threads asking similar questions.

    It's a shame, but I'm going to have to return the k2.
