Roadmap of upcoming features?
Hi all. I'm new to the Hammerhead world, having just received my Karoo 2 this week.
Will it be the [insert competitor here] killer that everyone is hoping for? We'll see, but what would be really great in my opinion would be to see a roadmap or backlog of which features and fixes are coming in future development cycles.
Coming from the software world myself, a backlog of features and when we expect to implement them is something that we always provide our clients at the start of any dev sprint.
We do this for visibility and most importantly, backlog prioritisation: as a dev team we may think that feature 'x' is really important to deliver really quickly, whereas our client may well think that bug 'y' is the most important thing to focus our efforts on. Having that conversation allows us to set focus.
There seems to be a small, vocal and highly engaged community on this forum, which is perfect for this kind of approach. So how about it?

I agree! It's also a way to let your customers know that the product is improving.
Right now there are queit alot of features that keep popping up here but we never really see an answer when we can expect something. It will also keep the forum cleaner, because it's clear which features are already noticed and worked on.

There's been quite a bit of discussion about the reasons for not having a public roadmap here: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/360035456054-Roadmap-for-Hammerhead-

Sorry, no, the link you provide does not state that the roadmap will not be shared. Quite the contrary. It says that the development team are very interested in sharing it and the last update from the development team, 7 months ago state that Hammerhead are looking at sharing it.
There are then a number of personal 'opinions' - none of which are from Hammerhead - about the competition not doing this and the thread then descends into a conversation about the differences of ANT+ of BLE sensors but does not include any update.
