Karoo 2 Routing suggestion - beeline

I would like to make a suggestion to the developers.
My old Garmin had a feature that would show the direction to my destination as a straight line (beeline).
I am not always happy with the routing as it does not always choose the best roads for cycling. I often just want to find my own way but while still know more or less in which direction to go.

I would like to see this implemented

  Very useful feature. Also, it can be not line, but a small arrow marker near map border.

  I fully agree with Orm, rerouting is terrible with the Karoo, especially with an MTB. It never shows the shortest way to go to the route. When I'm driving wrong I always have to stop, add a 'purple' point to the route and then it works.

  The whole point of it is that I like to have an indication of where I am going. Why would I need the GPS if I am going to "just turn it off"?
  I've had this "direct line to destination" in a previous unit and found it very useful.

  You can ride your own route when following one and it'll adjust to that..tho ive found it takes you the shortest route and best actually, the route mapping is the best their is and just turn it off if you don't like it..
