What'd make the K2 perfect for me/you..

THE 2 things that puts me on the floor with amazement about the K2: you can't search for a place to ride to on the unit ! (yes you can move the map around but that's impractical for me imo) and you can't turn off the Lap system it took soo many swear words as id touch it a lot even though it has a small graphic right by it..this last item drives me crazy but thankfully i dont touch it now 🤞 i can put up with the stupid spindly typeset/font or a few others things if these where sorted - obviously this isn't for Hammerhead as they don't seem to give a flying faff about anything that's typed on these pages What would make the k2 perfect for you fellow Hammerhead users ?

    A computer that actually matched anything that Hammerhead said about it. If you read the 'blurb' on their website you would believe the Karoo 2 is a bike computer created by geniuses and crafted by the hands of the greatest artisans of the day! It is so far from that ideal as to be laughable!

    Improved colours on the climb function. I find the dark blue coupled with small font size difficult to read, especially in high sunlight.

    Ok I'm 63 but yeah I'm probably not the only one :) I'd like to see the turn by turn arrows a bit bigger when they pop up

    A standy-mode (booting the device takes a lot of time, especially if you do several rides per day for commuting)

    Ability to turn rerouting off, better battery life especially with battery saver on (for one thing, the map shows up right away whenever you or the unit turns the screen back on, wondering if it actually is constantly kept up to date even when not shown).

    For anyone who has issues with the field labels, maybe you should rethink how your data fields are laid out on the pages? I can’t really read the labels either, but I’m fine with that (and like the design as it is)  as the fields are organized so that the values shown offer enough cues for me to know what is what. Agree that the T intersection turn arrows are objectively bad, though.

    If it didn't fail at its only real job... To save the ride. First long ride today and this trash just froze on Saving your Ride... Nothing saved. Complete waste of money. You had 1 job Karoo!

    I think karoo lacks an option, navigate to.....to be simpler to navigate to a city without having to know where on the map it is and without having to create a new route.
