Request: Search for Destination using GPS coordinates (Dashboard and Karoo2)

I often only have the GPS coordinates of a target. e.g. received from a colleague via his "WhatsApp Location Function"

It would be great if I could enter the destination in the Karoo using the GPS coordinates.

Likewise, the GPS coordinates input in the dashboard would be very helpful; to plan a route

Here are examples of formats that should work

• Decimal degrees (DD): 41.40338, 2.17403
• Degrees, minutes, and seconds (DMS): 41°24'12.2"N 2°10'26.5"E
• Degrees and decimal minutes (DMM): 41 24.2028, 2 10.4418

  @Franz: You are right. Ability to search or create Routes using the GPS coordinates could be a good enhancement for us to add on Karoo 2 and on the Dashboard. I completely understand your use case. I will add your vote for this feature request while forwarding it to the Product team. This is something not in our near term development pipeline as of now.

  Hi, 
  I'm new to Karoo but what I really miss is entering the GPS coordinates. Very regularly I do long trips where there are checkpoints. That could just be in the middle of a forest. GPS coordinates are then almost indispensable.

  For years, I have been asking Karoo to display geographic coordinates (degrees, UTM, etc.) and therefore to add a field, like most other GPS devices. Unfortunately, to no avail. However, I was told that this feature was available on the first version of Karoo. It's a real shame because it could be helpful for people who use maps in remote locations.

  Would love to have this.
  Transitioning from Garmin to hammerhead/suunto, it is something that I missing.
  I usually created my POIs in basecamp, copying the coordinates from google maps, and transfered it across my devices.
  Specially train stations, which on the hammerhead/suunto maps I am not being able to find by search (Ex: lille flandres, brussels midi).
