Hi Andrew, There are no plans to make this change. While we work on improving the software and adding new features, this work from one of our community member could be helpful

This was interesting, indeed.  It addresses the map content on the device alone though.  The content missing on the Karoo head unit are the contour lines and, especially, DEM.

Given the capabilities of the screen, I am really surprised that HH don't do more to reveal the landscape around.  Hills are, after all, a big thing to climbers and big thing to the grinders, like me, who want to know how long to grit their teeth for.

It's not like space is an issue.  Garmin has something like 2 continents inside the 32GB the 1030 Plus ships with.  I wonder if it's a cost or licensing challenge?

An especially for the 3D route up display.  It would be amazeballs.

When I orderd the KAROO2 I did expect that OCM is on the headunit!

    The first ride was disappointing!

Details like national and international cyclepath are missing! What? Why? Are you serious?

Whats the point on this reduced information if there is plenty of storage availiable?

Did I by a 400$ unit and need to sidelad the KOMOOT App for propper use?

In this case I could save the money for some other bike parts and still use my smart phone for navigating on routes.

    It`s realy disappointing!

    best regards!
