Shipping to Canada
AnsweredNow that I've received the tracking info for my order and I see that it's being sent via DHL, I'm curious if anyone else from Canada has already received their unit and if so were there brokerage fees and Canadian taxes needing to be paid directly to DHL prior to delivery outside of the initial Hammerhead charges?
Thanks!

Are you sure it's coming via DHL? I ask as mine is shipping to Canada and I got a UPS tracking number, however it's actually being shipped via USPS/Canada Post. (The UPS service level used meant UPS simply took it to a USPS depot).
It should arrive tomorrow/Monday according to the Canada Post tracking page and I've not been asked to pay any additional charges yet.

I'm as sure as I can be since the tracking link takes me to the DHL web site. It's certainly not the typical 1Zxxxxxxxx tracking number format UPS uses. DHL also does final-mile delivery using postal services so it may be the same level of service you're seeing. I hope yours or mine don't end up at the Gateway Canada Post facility en route with all the problems they've got with staff and Customs inspectors being off the job due to COVID. It could mean major delays. I'm just west of the GTA so it's certain to pass through that location if it's in the mail this side of the border.
Thanks for responding!
Quick edit - It's now showing as in Bethlahem PA so 99% likely it will be DHL eCommerce via mail delivery.

I pre-ordered separate 3 units to Canada. They have used DHL or UPS but the service that they use is a hybrid and both services turn it over to the USPS which forwards it to Canada Post who ultimately deliver it. It ends up going through Canada Customs in the Canada Post portion of the trip. I was not charged brokerage fees or sales taxes for them. (The first one took 1 day to clear, the others took 4 days).
