    Hey all,

We are certainly looking towards having many more models of our Hammerhead Mounting System. Currently, we are working on these and you will see announcements in the future.

I have to agree on looseness. Actually I have two mounts, one is Rotor Computer Mount for Garmin in which Karoo fits very firmly, and the other one on my aero-handlebars in which it's a bit loose and wobbling very lil bit.

Whilst on the other hand, the Garmin Edge device holds firmly in both.

This only proves what you said, this is tolerance issue.

But not everybody wants to mount a light under their Karoo 2.

Here's how to add a light under the Karoo 2 mount:

same on the loose fit, it causes the karoo to rattle for a whole ride which becomes annoying

Just to add to the loose fit concern.  I recently added the o-ring fix to my mount and it does seem to improve things slightly.  What I believe where the loose feeling is coming from mostly is the garmin adapter plate itself.  You can move the plate in the Karoo2  body for and aft as well a bit side to side.  No worry of it coming out but does give the perception that its the actual garmin 1/4 turn when that's just part of the story.

I hacked together a combination of the K2 mount and a Garmin mount. Fits like a glove now. If only Hammerhead would make an insert that would fit into a Garmin compatible mount and still use the original K2 mounting system.

Garmin adaptor rattled the entire st george 70.3...well the bike portion. Was very distracting. I wouldnt mind the K2 mount if then had a light mount that could be used with Canyons CP10 Aerocockpit CF. Any word on better adaptors or mounts that fit uniqu bars?

    Perhaps this?  https://www.closethegap.cc/product/hidemybell-raceday-fi/

I have a different model for Canyon H36 bars and it accepts an action mount underneath, where I mount a light.  The mount is a snug fit with little movement, and I seem to have a problem with some other mounts and the K2.

even with shims, mounting my standard Karoo mount on 31.5 Giant handlebars still results in some play.  Was tight as a drum for 5 months, then after my light mount broke (on the right side of the handlebar) , I had to move the Hammerhead mount just slightly and never got it to fit snugly again.  I even stripped the standard bolt and replaced it....to no avail.

I DO like the way the Karoo neatly clicks into place when the mount is working.

My dream would be something like Florian's  (stem mount) but with the possibilty of a go-pro mount.  Extra ponts if half turn mountable on the bottom as well.   I would pay extra for this.  Don't want to mess around with something custom.

Best I could find was this one but that limits me to the Garmin adapter - https://komcycling.com/collections/frontpage/products/stem-mount-quick-release-gopro-mount

Good that the K-edge mounts are backed by Hammerhead.  (also a very cool keychain, btw).    By stem mount I mean attaching to the two bottom bolts on the stem like Florian's pic
