    Hi Ruben,

I spotted this already in December... and others as well...
Obviously the HH recommendation at this time is to plan your route either in Strava and then import to K2 via the dashboard or plan your route in the dashboard and import it to Strava to make sure the elevation data are accurate...

    Best regards

Hi Andi, thanks for answering, I remember that I saw this issue spotted before, but can't find it in the forum.

Thanks for the link. I hope this will get fixed as soon as possible.

    BR.

Ok, I know hammerhead is aware of this issue with dashboard, but they say on the "known bugs section":

" Dashboard does not display accurate elevation/Ascent numbers when importing certain routes from other platforms; No Known workaround as of now. It will be fixed in one of the upcoming releases. "

I traced a route on strava, then exactly same route on hammerhead, pointing over the map on both platforms.... and I'm sure it is not an import from other platforms bug, is the way someone is calculating elevation gain... I really want to trust hammerhead (everyone will be a super-pro cyclist with "everestings" every week ) but I think his estimation is not correct at all, I'm sure othre platforms make mistakes too and are not 100% accurate, but this is the result on the same route, pointing over map on strava and hammerhead dashboard I got:

    +2.026 m on strava

    +3.301 m on hammerhead

    Someone is cheating XD.

I forgot to say, that the same route above, if I import from strava without pointing manually over hammerhead map is:

    +3.446m

Something is broken here. Hope you can fix this soon.
