@Judah: Yes, it is possible to add Bike Profiles on Karoo 2 under the "Settings< Bikes". That being said, the sensors are not linked to Bike Profiles but this is one of the long-term projects that we would like to explore on Karoo 2 to address these issues.

The current implementation of Bike Profiles on the Karoo 2 is next to useless though given that you only select what bike was used after an activity. This means that in the current implementation even if more info about the bikes was added such as wheel size and crank length this could not be used to correctly calibrate the paired sensors. Literally, the only thing it could track would be the odometer...

The suggestion of sensors being associated with the Bike Profiles also doesn't seem like a good solution. What if I have sensors which I move between bikes? I would like to use for example different wheel sizes for the same speed sensor on different bikes. Or equally different crank lengths for a power meter depending on which bike is being used.

I was at first in the same camp, but then realized that I like the current implementation better... Moving speed sensors is a hassle - so I just bought cheap ant+ sensors (20 bucks) and installed one on each wheel. Since the sensor is calibrated automatically I don't worry about it anymore ...

My suggested implementation wouldn't make that any different though... Your Karoo would connect to whichever sensor was on the bike you were riding given that the sensor only wakes up if the wheel has moved. It just means that if you DO move the sensor to another bike it will give correct info.

And while I agree with you about just buying another speed sensor; power meters are expensive and I suspect most people don't have £1800 to kit out 3 bikes with power meters.

I honestly can't really think of a downside of storing crank and wheelsize data as attributes of a 'Bike Profile'

@Hari Krishnan Is this something that is still being considered? I've seen this feature request elsewhere too.
