Feature Request: Automatic Display Brigthness + Quarq TyreWiz
Answered-
Hi Kevin, setting up an automatic display is not possible as a hardware limitation on Karoo 2. It is however an option on Karoo 1 and seems to be the cause of high drain, which is why it was removed on the Karoo 2
Tyreqiz - is on the roadmap, but below some of the other features requested by most of the community member.

That's one of the big cons of Karoo 2. The light-sensor seems to be missing in hardware. This reduces the allready very short battery lifetime even more. I realy don't understand the argument why automatic brightness control should reduce battery life.
I always have to stop now when riding through a dark tunnel to manualy reduce brightness as I'm blinded by karoo 2...

If you enter the GPS data of the location, you should be able to link the setting times of the sun. If you are in a different place (vacation), you should be able to change that quickly.
Of course, this does not replace a brightness sensor.I want to buy a Karoo2 in the next 4 weeks.

Ok, now that SRAM has bought Hammerhead... Can we please get the SRAM/Quark Tyrewiz sensors integrated with the Karoo 2 !!! How difficult can it be to simply read and display the data from two simple pressure sensors?! This is very frustrating! I'm a new Karoo 2 owner and this is extremely bothersome for me. I'm in Michigan and currently do a lot of fat tire bike riding and racing on snow and ice, the tire pressures we run are very low (like 5-7 PSI) and are very critical to bike performance on soft surfaces like snow. To further complicate matters the pressures can fluctuate a great deal with changes in temperature and need to be constantly monitored and checked, to make this easier I had already invested in TyreWiz sensors. It's seems like such a no brainer these should just work with Karoo and they do with Garmin and Wahoo. I didn't even consider the possibility that my existing Tyrewiz sensors would not work before I recently switched over from Wahoo to Hammerhead. The rest of my experience has been great with the Karoo 2, I really love the device in general! This issue just seems like a ridiculous oversight and shouldn't really be that difficult to correct. Come on Hammerhead!! Please make the software tweaks to support the sensors and get tire pressure fields added!!
