Live tracking colours (ahead vs behind)
AnsweredToday i loaded a route and followed it.
I sent the tracking link to myself.
In the map i see the loaded route and a dot with an arrow (my location and direction). The route was all red.
In other apps you usually see the loaded route in one color and what you've ridden so far in a different colour.
Say loaded route in red and what you've done already in green or blue. If it is a simple straight line maybe it does not matter but if it is a very loopy route i would like my mates to know what i've ridden and not only where i am

Ali, or Hammerhead team, any update on this? It's been 8 months since Ali mentioned it was in the works.
I finally got a SIM to start testing Live Tracking and it does work as well as find my friend from Apple. The tracking seems to be stable and function well but there is no course information, no lines showing where the user has ridden, just a dot of where the user currently is. The route information is important for a few reasons, 1) to help anyone watching the link understand the direction you're moving(are you getting closer to them or further) without having to watch for several 30 second updates. 2) when a user looses service it's hard to understand what's going on when all you have is a dot, if you have previous route information you can see that they just entered a canyon or something else where they might lose service. Really hoping some of these improvements can be made, otherwise we may as well just use built in phone tracking apps.
