Hi Benjamin - These are not compatible as of now, but we do have it on our backlog for the integration in the months ahead. We will be looking for interests from other community members to re-prioritise our Backlog if and when needed.

First time user of K2. Loving the unit but have to run it side by side with my Wahoo to capture SmO2 data for my coach. When can I expect to see this feature. Wahoo and Garmin have had this feature for years. Thanks.

    Hello Ali,

I'd like to express my interest in integration of HH with Supersapiens sensor. I do own Karoo2 and believe this unit is the perfect device for interpreting advanced metics coming out of supersapiens.

    Ali,

Please put this integration at the top of the TO DO list. This is extremely important to my training and keep the Karoo is dependent on this sensor working

    Hi,
Just wanted to echo support for supersapiens. I don't actually use it, I use the libre 2 Glucose sensor as I'm a type 1 diabetic, but as far as I can tell supersapiens is the same thing rebranded. I really like my partners k2, and I'm looking to replace my dying edge 800, but I'm def gonna be swayed by something that can read my Glucose.

If there is any plans to integrate with supersapiens in the next few months please let us know before I buy something different...
    Thanks
    Rob

    Hello,

Would be very very keen on seeing Core body temp integrated, I genuinely think this could become the next important training metric (more so that supersapiens which will be far too expensive for most)

    Hello,

Just wanted to also add my interest for seeing the integration of the Core Body Temp Sensor. This would be such a ideal thing if it is directly integrated.

For me as a diabetic I would like to be able to see and store glucose values from Libre 2 or Dexcom. I have been using Karoo fro. Its inception, but am now. Running a garmin watch in parallel to see my glucose readings.

Hi! Any update on this? Especially the core body temperature sensor.

    Sincerely

    Benjamin

I'm waiting for integration with the Core Body Temperature sensor as well (Karoo 2) so keen to hear when this will be supported.

For both Super Sapiens and Core Body Temperature users, I am curious, if you are not a pro rider, has this data/analysis already been adopted at coaching at non pro levels? Asking as it seems this is still relatively new tech.

To be honest as I have only been using the Supersapiens sensor for a season but looked into the Core temperature sensor. If you know how to use it, it's just as powerful as tool as the power meter. Few understood the power meter in the 90s but today it's easy to see how it's beneficial during training and racing, these two sensors has the advantages - optimizing of training and racing with help of data. The difference from e.g. a sleep sensor is that these sensors give you actionable insights instead of reactive insights (you can see on forehand that you are going to have a bad nights' sleep) by hinting what's going at the moment in your body.

In essence, for me, not supporting next generation of insights and data is like not supporting a power meter. Karoo needs to push this. I've asked both Supersapiens and Core but they both say that they are waiting for Hammerhead. Garmin and Wahoo have done this for the whole season.

Lastly, I'm a super happy Karoo 2 customer so I'm only pushing this to really make Karoo the best and most complete head unit outhere.

Hi all--long time garmin user here, thinking of jumping ship, given the amazing product (and the current trade-in program). But I do use Moxy, Core and Supersapiens pretty much whenever I train. This thread is 8months old, and afaik none of these apps have been added to what karoo 2 supports since then. What are the chances that they will be in the near future, do you reckon? I would hate to buy a unit, and to never be able to use it in training...

These sensors have been promised for a very long time. Since then, little to no progress has been made to integrate them. If you use them currently, and would like to keep using them, I don't feel comfortable in recommending you switch to Karoo.

I've been in contact with Core a couple of times the last month and they are saying that they are waiting for Hammerhead. One hinted to get back soon for more info, hoped that yesterday's update would contain it but we got wallpapers instead :)

No offence, they look nice, but it's not as useful... :)

Thanks, that's what I feared. I guess I will resist the urge to take advantage of the program "saving money and the planet" ;)

I just purchased a Karoo 2 and I'm now realizing the CORE sensor doesn't integrate.  I wish I would have done a tad more research.

I've been waiting for Core support for almost a year.  This is ridiculous.

I actually believe they won’t do it. It’s all about SRAM now.

actually chris froome has invested in hammerhead and in supersapiens, so probably its just a matter of time until we get the implementation 🤞🏽

No current plans for the Core sensors. The current focus has been the integration with the e-Bikes.

Hi! If that is true I'm becoming utterly sad. No more Di2, no integration with such normal sensors these days and focusing on assistive bikes.. I guess Garmin and Wahoo will be the only option for people who admire integrations?

    Hi Ali,

Where's the value in e-bike compatibility if majority of e-bikes come with its own head unit?

That said, I'm a bit dissapointed as well.

    Hi Ali,

can you explain how there has to be support for e-bikes? All metrics really do not matter with e-bikes. Metrics on non e-bikes like glucose and core temp are very interesting. What is the push for e-bikes?

Thats a big shame for the priorisation for the e-bile integration.
As stated above most e-bike have their own headunit. Who really needs that.
We lost Di2 compatibility and now also such things. Soon I really have to think to switch back. Don‘t get these strange priorisations for Software features.
Really hoped for the core temp, since it was written somewhere you were in contact with core themselfs.
