Power way too high
AnsweredEver since I got my Karoo 2, it's reporting power much too high for my rides. I have performed a zero-reset on my Stages and also calibrated prior to every ride. I'm the same weight (roughly,) as my riding companions, and while their power rate is generally in the 180-210 range, mine is consistently in the 225-300 range, on the SAME rides.

Hey Gibbs,
I'm sorry for the issues you are experiencing.
When calibrating at the head unit, can you confirm the cranks are unweighted & the strain gauge calibration values display "0" within the sensors app?
Are you noticing the change in power at the unit, another head unit or a 3rd party Dashboard? Strava, Training Peaks, etc. It will be helpful for us to analyze these FIT files to better understand the changes in power data. Ideally we'd need two FIT files from two head units recording the same ride with your Stages power connected to both units. Is it possible for you to share these files?
If you'd like I can also raise a support ticket.
Thanks!

I just got my Karoo 2 and went out for a ride for the first time. Loved it and performs like it should and was really enjoyable to see all the data info etc.
But I too have found the power data to be slightly higher than normal, I transitioned from Garmin 830 which I used for about a year, so I know my power meter readings from that as well as Wahoo Elemnt which I had used before Gamin 830. Funnily enough, when I went to Garmin 830, the readings were slightly lower in comparison to Wahoo but with Karoo 2, the reading seems highest. I will be going out for another ride tomorrow and maybe I will record it on my Garmin as well as a test and can provide .fit files from both for your assessment.
