Direct comparison towards Garmin Edge 520 Plus here
AnsweredSo I decided to compare data provided by K2 and Garmin Edge 520 Plus
Here is my setup:

Connected sensors:
- Garmin: Speed, Powermeter, SRAM eTap
- K2: Powermeter, SRAM eTap
- NO navigation on either
Note: K2's speed+distance was registered from GPS (only cuz I forgot to pair the speed sensor)
Then thanks to DC Rainmaker Analyzer tool I'm able to directly compare data of those two devices.

I didn't ride very hilly terrain as you can see. So this comparison is not the best representation of how accurate either of both devices is.
Summary:
- both devices registered the same ascent (5 meters of difference is within tolerance of error I'd say)
- K2 battery burn rate 7% / hr ....not bad at all
I'm planning to continue comparing those two devices in future rides. Of course I won't post here every single one. But longer routes with navigation running might give us some representative results how good or bad K2 is.
