Agree with you Franz. The arrow in the map being centred means half the screen is wasted and is a PITA esp for those who need reading glasses (like me) and would like to zoom in more. Worse, when you tilt the screen (which could be a great feature) the area you've already passed is what is easiest to read.

Good idea about the arrow. And I would like to get rid of those awful chevrons/arrows too. Instead make some difference in color between ridden and to ride path. Would make a much more clearer view.

Frankly I think that chevrons are fine (for me). Introducing another color to the mix (different route colors and map colors) may add much more distractions. Chevrons are much more readable especially when you need to quick look at the screen (again, for me).

This is a great idea. I think moving the arrow down would be great. It would also be nice to have the map auto-zoom out depending on your speed.

    Hey Franz,

Thanks for posting, These are indeed very valuable suggestions you have shared here. I will ensure have this shared with my team.

Currently, we have centered the Arrow after a lot of research and testing while keeping viewing angles and various rider feedback in mind.

The live update link has an auto-update frequency of 30 seconds presently. I will take this point across to my team for their consideration as well.

Can I just add a BIG +1 to the map centering problem. It's not just wasted space, when I was going downhill yesterday I found it quite dangerous not being able to see the turn off on approach. I have the map zoomed in a little which I prefer for any complex junctions, but my Garmin always gave me lots of at a glance visual information on what the road ahead is doing and where my turning is on approach.

With the current position of the location arrow on the map the K2 requires me to focus a little longer on the numbers as I can't see far enough ahead, and upcoming bends are again hidden.

And anything behind me map wise is of little concern :)
