    Hey Richard,

Thanks for posting and giving us your point of view on how the Karoo can be helpful during your rides :) I will share this with my team for their reference!

I can't get the Karoo to connect reliably enough to receive a text message - this would seem way beyond its abilities!

@Philip - Definitely feel your pain on that one! Was having issues as well until I realized that the Karoo Companion app was being "optimized" by my phone software so it wasn't working properly. I haven't had a long ride since then so still need to test things out. Worth double checking if you're on Android!

Have turned off all optimizations and allowed the Karoo Companion App all permissions. The software is just not up to the job.

I'd love that as well. Was thinking about it riding today if it could be a screen added to swipe across to move the track on, see what is playing. Would also be a great USP to get a step ahead of the opposition.

This feature request was the first support ticket I wrote, after I got my K2 ;-) Votes up!

Literally, everyone wants this, among other things. Please work on getting Google Maps, instead of building whatever your route builder app is trying to do. Nobody needs a another route builder, we all have Strava. The Karoo2 boasted phone-like capabilities, that would enable 3'rd party apps. The only 3'rd party apps that the K2 hangs with, are training apps that most riders don't care about, or wan†. Just let us keep our phones in our pockets, damn. As much as †hese bricks cost, we should be there by now.

Cycling computers should be for cycling, not just training to race. Got your unit coz it's freaking BEAUTIFUL, and the marketing hype about constant updates, and running an android base, led us all to believe that we could essentially have a tough little smartphone on are bars. Android, and Google are like cookies, and cream, why don't you just make something that would actually make you the best unit on the market? Could even dream about a proper integration on Google maps' bike routing. Wouldn't even need Strava after that.

Hi! Are there any updates on this feature request? Wahoo's had the Music Control feature since March 2024: https://support.wahoofitness.com/hc/en-us/articles/17409284703762-Music-control-ELEMNT

Downloaded Spotify and YT Music to my KAROO(3). Seems to play ok but have not tried through BT headphones yet. Idea being that I can listen to music and hear K3 times/alerts at the same time (through open ear headphones). That all said, I would rather play through my phone and is relay to my BT headphones via the K3 controls. All whilst having alerts come though too. Wishful thinking or a possible reality?
