Battery Save Mode Effectiveness
Hey everyone, I'm heading out on a multi-day bikepacking trip in just over a week and I'm wondering if anyone has run their K2 exclusively in battery save mode for longer rides. I'm trying to grasp how much battery life I'll actually save with the display being off most of the time. I do plan on running navigation and connecting to an HR and speed sensor, so I'm sure that will affect battery life. Any insight is appreciated!

I use the battery save mode on my K2 for most rides, not because I need to but because I prefer to only have my computer screen on when I need it for an upcoming turn, a Radar alert or a phone notification. Most of my routes have a lot of turns, so my K2 does wake up quite often. I also have it paired to an external Bluetooth speaker for audio navigation instructions and alerts. Using it that way, my K2 uses about 6% per hour with the screen brightness set to 50%.
On your bike packing trip, you will probably want to charge your K2 overnight.
