What does Karoo 2 do when capacity for routes and rides is exceeded?

    Considering the size of a single route file and the storage capacity of the Karoo, you would probably have to have tens of thousands of those for this to be an issue even on a unit with lots of offline maps downloaded...

    My own frustration in this area is that routes previously downloaded from Komoot beyond the current most recent 50 are deleted automatically, meaning that when I want to use a route I may have planned some months earlier, I first have to refresh (replan) the route on Komoot, then go to the dashboard to reload it there, then wait until the Karoo has downloaded (activate phone hotspot if no SIM) and crunched the route.
