elevation gain
Did another ride today, correct height 413 m after Strava correction, Karoo 2 1178 m. I now have the third device, all have the same error. It's unbelievable that Hammerhead can't fix this bug in a year. It's probably the hardware after all and they don't want to tell us. My friends are already laughing at me.

I haven't kept up with this issue, and honestly didn't know people were having one. My K2 has always been very accurate relative to Strava post adjustment.
However I did own another headunit that started with a letter near the end of the alphabet, which had this issue after owning for a while Their support knew of an issue that could cause this. There were two sets of tiny holes where the sensor picked up on micro atmosphere adjustments (basically how it figures the change in elevation) and those needed to be cleaned out. They were visually fine, but I did stick a pin through each of the holes and all was back to normal.
I wonder if there is a similar issue/sensor on the K2 and is also susceptible to mis reads when dirt, debris, or dried sweat has gotten into these small holes.
Just a thought...I hope you guys get your readings correct, that I'm sure is frustrating!
