I am not certain if this is solely due to the Hammerhead. Here is a ride from yesterday:

    Hammerhead: 155.1 km, 1,196 m
    Strava: 156.69 km, 888 m
    Garmin Connect: 156.70 km, 1,332 m

All three sources use the same fit file. Which one is the accurate measurement?

I haven't kept up with this issue, and honestly didn't know people were having one.  My K2 has always been very accurate relative to Strava post adjustment.

However I did own another headunit that started with a letter near the end of the alphabet, which had this issue after owning for a while  Their support knew of an issue that could cause this.  There were two sets of tiny holes where the sensor picked up on micro atmosphere adjustments (basically how it figures the change in elevation) and those needed to be cleaned out.  They were visually fine, but I did stick a pin through each of the holes and all was back to normal.

I wonder if there is a similar issue/sensor on the K2 and is also susceptible to mis reads when dirt, debris, or dried sweat has gotten into these small holes.

Just a thought...I hope you guys get your readings correct, that I'm sure is frustrating!
