    Hey Jacob.

I totally understand how important the lap normalized power data field is when you are training indoor. I do see that you would prefer to take into account your body's reaction to change in exercise intensity due to changing resistance.

Frankly speaking, we have hardly request for the implementation of the normalized power in the lap as a data field. Certainly, we have a near term plan to widen our lap fields.

Nonetheless, we have the normalized power as one of the numeric data fields under power. I am sure you can set it for your rides until we have the request to be worked on if priortised. Besides, you can see the details of the power in a lap corresponding to the change in the riding conditions when you import your rides to the third-party applications.

Hi Abhishek - I'd like to +1 the request. I use the lap based normalized power to compare how hard I am riding against the ride as a total. I can tell if I have recently started riding too hard, or too easy, and adjust. I'm not sure how to use the Hammerhead on longer rides to gauge intensity without it.

I would not only like to +1 the request, I will tell you I bought a new device and cancelled the order because you do not have Normalized Power by Lap.

As others mentioned, it allows us to track the workout of long intervals.  It is far more important *OUTDOORS* than indoors.  On the trainer, I 'rarely' hit a red light, have to wait for a car to turn or things of that nature.

Your companies support team was INSANELY helpful and the promise still stands.  Add normalize power by lap and I will order a computer that day!  (Heck, if you tell me its in an upcoming build (with date) I would order today!

+1 I'm going to have to return mine unless lap normalized power is added soon (like Scott says, this is important outdoors not indoors)

It would be so easy to add - they already have the code written.

    Scott cancelled order.
    Mike sending his back.

I'll buy one the day that feature drops - and I do check the changelog every 2 weeks.

    +1 on Normalized Lap Power.

Surprised this isn't already a data field option by now.

    Hi!

    Where’s that shown?

In the workout screen, there is no current average of the lap.

If I open the lap drawer, there is the data for each lap. Above the lines it shows again the last lap, which doesn’t make sense at all. Why wouldn’t show it the average of the current lap, I am in. So I would know, if I am under oder over performing…

Paul - Lap NP is a numerical data field to be added on the Page Layout. It is not something that can be added on the Lap drawer or the Workout screen. It can however be added on the regular data pages
