Map screen adaptability on the fly

I see a lot of people asking for multiple map pages so they can have one with full map, one with map and a few data, an other one with even more data...

Why not let the possibility to extend or shrink the map while riding ? A bit like the zoom in or out fonction in data pages of the Wahoos. Switching from map and 4 data fields, to bigger map and 2 data fields, to full map and no data field.
