strava Live Segments

is ther any way to see on the Karoo2 ahead or behind stats- map, graph, metric? While in a segment?
I want to improve but its very difficult to see where i am with regards to my other times duriung a segment
Anyway to see this?

Additionally, we do not have direct metrics to report while on the segments as the results are published by Strava post-ride and after the upload.

Yes I am quite familiar with the Karoo 2 Strava live segments and have set up my Karoo 2 with what i want per Segment however it is very difficult if i am on a segment to see if I am ahead, behind or close to breaking my PR during a ride so i can push harder to actually improve my time in real time- Your competitors have this info available in real time during a ride so i do not see why Hammerhead cannot provide this
Reason i recenttly purchased a Karoo was the metrics and better as well as larger screenbut this is an imporatnat metric and the strava live page has too much info and is small
Also, if a Karoo 3 is released does thgat mean all updates to the Karoo 2 are stopped?

There is a way to turn on/off the various other "competitors" on the SLS screen. First, go into your list of SLS. In your list you will see a set of icons either solid black or greyed out like is shown in my list in the image below. The solid black icons are the competitors enabled for that segment. In the case of my first screen shot, I am looking at "7 min Hill". I have circled in red the icons, and you can see that the first 5 are active for this segment (KOM, Carrot, Fox, My PR, and Recent Best). 1 is greyed out, Most Recent. For this segment, the solid black ones will show up on the dynamic SLS screen, but the greyed out one will not.
To change the competitors, select the segment. You will get a larger view of the segment with your Strava competitors and their times, with the corresponding icon on the left as shown in the image below.
To turn off/on your preference of competitors, simple tap the icons and they will toggle on/off. In the image below, I tapped the Wolf icon and turned from solid black to grey. It will no longer show on the display in real time when I am riding this segment.
Unfortunately, at this time, I know of no way to globally turn off/on a particular competitor for all segments at once, so you have to do this one by one. Maybe a request for the future? There is no other configuration of the SLS screen that I know of.

Hey man thank you! I've nearly forgot this option. I'll have a look. But when marked more then 100 segments... A lot of work 🙈
But what I've meant is when riding a segment only three of them (🐺, PR, 👑, MR, your Strava followers) are shown. It would be nice if there would be a scroll option to see all the other athletes you're following. Also on the horizontal graph with different icons or their initials 🤷🏼

I too have ALOT of segments and went and did all that for each of my segments- Haven’t really “tried” it out yet (an unusually very little mileage riding year for me due to personal issues) I love how the SLS segment on the Karoo shows. what i would love - is also a pop up screen so that i can see my time and my time only during my segment to see if i can break my current PR. An intermittent pop up - for me- I think would be ideal
