Feature request: Change "Nav to" pin behavior when riding a route

Currently, when I'm riding a route and I go to the map screen and tap on one of my POIs and tap "Nav to" my K2 creates a new route to the POI. 

It would be much more useful to me when selecting "Nav to" a POI that is on my route for the K2 to use the route I already have loaded for turn-by-turn and "Distance Remaining".  

Wouldn't that be simpler (and make a lot more sense) than creating a new navigation to the POI??
