Route overlay on map

I often ride my mountain bike in areas that have lots of different trail options. It would be great if there was a way to download the different trails and then have them as overlays on the map. I don't necessarily need the  hammerhead to constantly plot a new route. It is frustrating to use the GPS when it is constantly trying to calculate a new route. I simply want to be able to easily see where I am at on the map in relation to the different routes that are downloaded.

It would be good to be able to also have names on segments of the trails downloaded. There are sometimes unique names given to the trails (and posted on signs) by the local biking community.

  You can use openorgmaps. Shows some routes…
