Hi Peer, we saw that too. Our Product team is aware of this new update and will consider reaching out to them. We will not be able to promise any timeline, unless we are certain it's ready to be released. Thanks again for sharing your suggestion.

Hi All, I wanted to keep you all updated that this feature was released yesterday. Now all the routes synced from Strava imports the Waypoints on Hammerhead Dashboard. If you do not see this working, then try to clear the cache and cookies of your browser. Let us know if you need further help!

    Hi Ali,

Wow, that is fantastic news! I have just tested this by creating a short route on Strava and then placing a few custom waypoints to it... and BOOM, there they are waiting for me on the Dashboard when I import the route.

Thank you to you and the dev team for working on this so quickly! This is going to make spotting local campsites and coffee stops so much easier now... and no need to grab my phone at every intersection.

    Peer.

Is there any chance creating/importing waypoints from Strava will make it possible to see the distance to the next waypoint based on my current position??  That would be a very welcome improvement.

Hi Larey, that is still not possible but it is something that has been shared with our Product Team before. I believe when that happens, it will be a global settings to toggle for all types of riders.

What is Larey K talking I think he had in mind "Next cue"data field, which should display the distance to next waypoint.

Now this works in its own way. When route is imported from Strava to Hammerhead, waypoints are completely different, made of crossroads, peaks, or other cues along the way.

I hope that waypoints created in Strava will reflect in Hammerhead and Karoo devices eventually.
