I’ve come across multiple posts regarding elevation from imported routes to dashboard from third party sites being grossly wrong. Some of these posts are two or three years old and still no fix for a glaring issue. For example, most routes imported to Dashboard from STRAVA will add more than 1,000 ft from the original. In other words STRAVA correctly indicates 2000 ft of climbing for a route to be followed. When added to Dashboard, it will tell you more than 3,000 ft. At this point I’m convinced HH will not fix an issue they’ve been aware of for several years now, rendering the Karoo 2 a pretty computer with extremely flawed maps, software, or whatever else is causing a problem that HH says will be addressed and never actually does anything. Not to mention their webpage is nothing more than a marketing advertisement pushing silly deals. All hype no substance.

yup, and perhaps a full refund of the purchase price of the Karoo 2 as a trade in on the Karoo 3

Don't believe it. They will never tell the true about this issue

It’s very simple to switch off GPS. You create an “Indoor” profile, you will then see “GPS” is red.
