Although I do like my K2, I've decided I like the larger screen and the available apps better. As a result I'm looking to sell my K2. What I would like to know is if there is a need to deregister so that the new person will have no problem getting software updates?

  Just factory reset the device, new user will setup new login. Whether you still have an account will make no difference to the new user.
