New Karoo charger

Can a fast charger (using a USB C to USB C cable) be used with the current/new Karoo or is it the same story as the Karoo 2?

  I asked support a few days ago which charger to use or not to use.
  This was their answer:"Similar to most current smartphones, your karoo ships without any charging brick.
  
  You can use any charging brick along with the cable in the box to charge the Karoo. We would just not recommend any fast/hyper chargers".
  I use a 20W charger with the cable from Hammerhead

  Thanks for the replies. Just wanted to make sure that the battery life doesn't get prematurely shortened.

  You can buy intelligent chargers that (supposedly) know what the device can take. I have a “QDOS Powercube”.
  There’s another earlier post about this where I commented that I used my Apple charger for the K2 until someone stated that HH said not to use fast chargers on the K2. I didn’t have any problems, but I now use the QDOS.
  PS: normal USB sockets today are USB C as EU Laws compelling tech companies to change comes into force this year, even Apple have had to change.
