Bug report: distance remaining field is broken

Dear reader

Since Karoo at least 1.480.1854 the distance and elevation remaining field is broken. If you go off the route, e.g. by missing a turn, navigating to a POI off the route, ... the distance and elevation remaining freezes. It's stays at the distance and elevation that remained before you went off the route.

Clearing and readding the route doesn't help.

  We’ve fixed an issue with the remaining distance/elevation data field that caused it to not work correctly when you re-join your route.

  They also need to fix the illogical representation of the bars.
  
  The hatched area calculates and includes distance from a ride starting point not a route starting point. Mid ride, if I start a route back home the bars should be 100% full from my location because I have 100% of a route left to complete to reach my destination but they do not show this. I don't want to see a partially full bar which is a representation that includes what I have already ridden I just want to know what is remaining to complete.

  I've argued this for over a year and still the data fields make no graphical sense.

  Is this with a POI to home on top of the route, or when cancelling the route and than adding the POI to home?
