Will AXS control of Karoo 2 through ANT+ be a feature in the future

I was disapointed to find out that the new feature to control Karoo headunits through your AXS buttons will only be available on the new Karoo. I have a Karoo 2 that is less than a year old and do not plan on getting a new one soon. 

I was wondering if this feature is on the roadmap to be available on the Karoo 2? I know there are many frequent feature additions that Hammerhead puts out every few weeks and I am hoping to get this feature soon!

  Hi Reilly, it is something that has not been planned for the near term, but we have shared such sentiment from our riders to the Product team for consideration in the future.

  I shared the frustration. My AXS pod for my Reverb has an unused bottom, and I just want to toggle screens with it, but that's reserved only for Karoo 3. I have seen that it's possible with a Wahoo and I've heard it's probably possible with Garmin. I bought a Karoo 2 because I wanted to see what was possible in terms of total system integration, pairing my various SRAM components with a headunit that is, in theory, co-developed with SRAM. The regular updates made me optimistic about Hammerhead, but I haven't seen many basic requests addressed. I'm not planning on upgrading in the near future and the lack of anything new and innovative on the Karoo 3 makes it unlikely that will be my next cycling computer.
